Newcastle meet?

Hi All,
Just wondering how many VR4 owners are in Newcastle and if anyone is interested in meeting up somewhere in the next few weeks. No cruise or anything just a quick meet, introduction for any new owners (like myself), talk VR4 for an hour or so and be on our way.

@LDundon just moved up there with a new job, so he'll definitely be keen, if you haven't seen him around already in the pearl white PFL with purple highlights.

Sounds like a plan! You should go to the Mitsubishi Dyno day that @TME_Steve is hosting on the 6th Feb in Springwood. I'm at a conference close by, so will pop up to see everyone on the day! But good way to meet people!

What sort of problems?

mainly that it's stumbling and banging around on WOT if you don't gradually feed on the power, not sure of cause but suspect of the spark plugs, so gonna change them jsut waiting on the intake gasket cos i'll do that whilst im at it, and the intercooler piping in that the soft pipe leading upto the airflow sensor looks like it may be collapsing from vacuum on WOT if there's not enough boost pressure. msged trotty hoping he still does the hard piping.

gonna get a UTCOMP and put it in the clock surround so i have a neat boost guage to help diagnose should that not be the issue

Also it looks like someone has messed with the vac lines based on the diagram some are not going to the right spot anymore, i think.. thats probably where I could use the most help - I have a vacuum tube diagram but having another leggy to reference will make it a cinch. any help would beappreciated
