Hey everyone just wanted to say hi to like minded enthusiasts. Picked up my Legnum last weekend .Its a 98 manual vr4 with 164 ,000 km . it has a walbro fuel pump, fuel rail loop electronic boost controller, 3 inch cat back exhaust and Bilstein coilovers.love it so far but has the usual lifter tick which will be upgraded soon with some lager flow type. anyone else here from newy? would be good to meet up sometime

If you have a little mechanical knowledge, a lifter change is quite an easy job. Bleed new lifters, remove rocker covers, pick up a rocker arm and pull out old lifter, put new lifter in, repeat! It surprised me how easy it is when I changed mine. May as well also do the rocker cover and spark plug seals while the covers are off too.
Anyway welcome again!

Once you get used to the 'service position' of removing engine bay hot & cold side piping and plenum to do most jobs, they're not that bad.

Hey rowan, there are are fair few of us residing in newy, im sure you have seen one or two around. I have come across a few as im selling parts off my scrapped "01". Will be organising a tune with TME steve in the new year and have 3 on board already, would be good to have numbers to make a weekend of it. Down in syd, so good for a cruise.
