I was just about to say 'White on Maroon! White on Maroon!' but you've already got them :)

Look good man *thumbs up*

I was going with white on marone, but I felt that that would bring too much red at the rear end. Wanted to go with something a bit more neutral.

thanks guys. Is there anything the can be done about the black clips at the back that would hold the japanese plates? If I removed them, would there be 2 holes in the tailgate?

Bit hard to see in these photos, but what about even removing them, painting them white to match the car and put them back on?

I've thought about that too, Simon. I think its a case of unscrew, bog up, touch-up-paint. Once my car's on the road I'm gonna take it by a friend's panel workshop to ask him exactly that.

Has anyone tried to remove the hooks on the rear? I tried the other night, and i got the screw out fine, but the hook didnt budge. I didnt want to pull too hard and ruin the paint around it, so now Im thinking of just painting them on the car.

Any other experiences?
