oil leaks

as all cars do they tend to leak oil , so our car is there any common places to look for or cheak out every few months for leaks like diff tranny case ! i know the usual spots to look out for like sump rocker cover gaskets ect but is there any other ones that leak or clap out that i need to be aware of
