Oil temperture

anyone know what this should be (or there abouts on a vr4)
 
Shouldn't it be about the same as the thermostat temp, being the coolant should be about the same temp as the block it runs through, hence the same as the oil temp? Not that i know what it is but I would imagine it might be a close indication....

Also interested to know the answer to this question too.....

(Feel free to burn me if I have overlooked something and made a silly comment lol)
 
When fully up to temp, mine sits at about 80 degrees celcius or a little over.

Takes ages to get up to temp as well compared to the water temp.

Amsoil will obviously be good for these extremes though.

All of my temperatures were without any variation on my stock temperature gauge (i.e. just below half).
