Panel filter: Do you oil it or not?

is it OK to put a K and N panel filter, i wasn't sure if i should put a oil based filter in or just a dry filter, i dont want to do any unnecessary damage

Andrew, I had to change the title so when other members & users search for it, it'll be easier..

and to answer the question - no, I have a simota pod filter. They're not the best but not the worst..

I usually take it off to clean it with a petrol based degreaser then dry it off, never had any problems with it..

Paul, they are pre oiled. I will wash and re oil it in maybe 10k
