I'm Mr. Mum at the moment and on leave without pay from my cushy state govt. admin job in Brisbane. It's coming on 4mths, our old house in Brissy hasn't sold yet and we've run out of buffer funds. Thanks to this, I need to find some part-time / casual work.
Since Seek / CareerOne etc are being gay with not much available, I thought I'd ask you lot about some part time or casual work that might be going. I live at Springbrook, so preferably I'm looking at the southern end of the GC, as it adds at least 20mins onto any travel time. I'm really only available nights and weekends, due to looking after the bub during the day, although something could be worked out the days that Ms Matt works from home.

So, yeah... I'm sure there's other stuff I could do if I give it a shot, but that's the gist of my working life. If anyone can help a bugger out, I'd appreciate it.

- I have open car licence. I also have a forklift ticket, although that's about 13yrs old and I haven't driven one in about 8yrs. Not difficult to pickup again though.
- I can do most office work, although financial stuff isn't my forte.
- I have pretty good computer knowledge and pick up most programs fairly quickly. I have done desktop support in my govt. job as well.
- Plenty of retail experience. I have also been a kitchenhand in the past, but dishpigging isn't that hard.
- Number of years Copying, Printing, Binding, Laminating etc experience.
So, yeah... I'm sure there's other stuff I could do if I give it a shot, but that's the gist of my working life. If anyone can help a bugger out, I'd appreciate it.
