Was a Ralliart Colt, was a 1997 Toyota Aristo was a 1996 Legnum..Now an XR5 Turbo
Signed. The rego here is ridiculously high hopefully they will lower it but not likely.

No it is never likely but untill we try....the best way would be if everyone took a stand and did not pay the increase...

Signed x2 (myself and the mrs)... Also sent this around the building via internal mail.

edit: Got the mrs to send this around her dealership... also to all the other Toyota dealerships in QLD including RACQ dispatch centers.

Locked in x 2 - will send the link to everyone I can
It really makes no sense considering QLD has the WORST roads in OZ, crazy insurance premiums not to mention the alarming increase in road fatalities - poor roads being a major contribution to this:angry:

Just thinking about sunny beach now:ohmy: happy thoughts:love:

Yeah, QLD roads are pretty bad, and they got rid of that fuel subsidy too. good work Anna Bligh.

$808 thats ridiculous! i never realised just how bad other states are. i just paid $470 for a year of rego for the legnum in wa (well when i say i, i worked it out of my dad considering he pays for my bro and sister but not mine cause i wanted my own car instead of a crappy hand-me-down corolla)

It must be going up a lot, because I had QLD rego on my car when I bought it and I think it worked out to be about $100 cheaper a year than VIC.

But that petition you are all signing, have you read in the reason listed? It's because pensioners can't afford it, so they'll probably just end up giving them a special discount and everyone else will have to pay full price still.

Doesen't really matter...its just shows our disgust of the local government....
The real problem I find is that these polies keep putting these prices up BUT they never have to ever pay them...most have government cars (paid by the tax payer), fuel cards(again...payed by the tax payer) and write that they will never have to pay for it into their severance packages as well.....

Even though all my cars are regoed in sa still, they will eventually be regoed in qld, so put my two votes in. It all helps!!!
