anyone know of any units/apartments or townhouses up for rent in the next few months (before end of dec.) around the north shore area or south of the bridge no further out than bankstown in the west and the shire in the south? max rent around the $350pw mark at this stage. looking at moving back to sydney, hopefully by the end of the year...

i am moving out of my house this weekend. i had a self contained granny flat down stairs you could of had. in the shire though.

moving to national park, water front and twistys to get there. woo hoo

what would traffic/transport (train etc) be like, going from penshurst to the city or st leonards and back each day be like? i have a feeling i would need to change trains, which would suck! I imagine the M5 would be something of a blessing and a pain in the arse at the same time, if i was to drive??

gah, why does lane cove/artarmon/chatswood etc have to be so expensive lol (i know why, just ranting) haha

Positive there is a major train station at hurstville that should go straight through... Maybe... The traffic would be horrible. Not worthy of a VR4.

if i work in the CBD it should be ok, the train should go straight to central (or at least town hall?) without having to change....but if i was to work at st leonards then i am guessing i would need to change at central and get on a north shore line etc...

Stephen, if you found a job here at the CBD, you can get off either Town Hall or Martin Place if you are comng from the Shire.

But if you work at up North, then you either change trains at Central or Town Hall.
