Went to go for a drive on the weekend after having her in the garage for a week after getting serviced, went to step on the throttle and it immediately cut power.
Im pretty sure its an electrical issue, being gentle on the throttle it can rev perfectly fine, but as soon as it starts to build boost its a violent power cut, and my boost controller only gets up to ab 5psi.
After having a look on here it seems like is it the ecu cutting power cus it thinks there is more boost than there should be, but its been running 15psi since 2017 after a tme tune up so im not sure what would have caused the ecu to suddenly change its mind.
Its a greddy boost controller but the turbos are stock aside from that, very violent power cut that likes to make me kiss the wheel a bit harder than Id like.
I am pretty sure I have some damage to the turbo seals, like I said its been running 15psi and 2 step for a fair while and Im getting a bit of a coolant burn (not a head gasket i got that checked). But i am looking to get a turbo rebuild in the next couple months which should fix that issue.
90% sure its electrical, just not sure whats caused it as it seemingly happened overnight.
