problem with my trani..

hello
my car is a Legnum VR4 2000, i just have 20 days with him,
so i need help, my triptronic trani is skating
i think can be a electrical problem or maybe need repair it?
Someone knows about this?? what happening?

Di you mean it's slipping. Could be the wrong type of tranmission fluid

have the original fluid for mitsubishi,
the trani is moving from first to fifth to reach less than 50 mille/hours
when i accelerated to 5000rpm the car not moving much

sounds like a torque converter problem...(or lack of torque !!! LOL)

yeah, broken torque converter. I had this in my white VR-4 when I picked it up.

Just say "broken torque converter" to the mechanic.

now have a noise from the back part, can be the diferencial or the torque converter?

when my mates transfer case went i thought it was the rear diff. but i put the chassis ears on it and found it was the trasfer cas. the noise resonated through the drive shaft and made it sound like a dif problem

i still have the problem,
i tried remove a cable of the baterry so the gear box stop of skating, i thinked all was fine, but en 15 minutes i listen a coup from back differencial and the car startied the problem again
