hey guys i have a proton gti and i am putting a mean evo 3 engine in it an awding it and it will be insain going to paint it matt black the motor has about 260kw at the weels so it should be good for 11 sec or maybey high ten

so keep you all posted

Well, the Protons used the mitsubishi engines and built under license, so the engine mounts should be the same.

Let us know how this goes!
 
hey guys

i have ony got pics of the car before i decied to do this but i wil post some up of what it looked like

the car now looks bare lol i have striped the hole thing and done an evo 2 front end convertion to her i will get some pics of the up as well
but like i said i am painting it matt black that why i have striped it hahaha

i love the proton sta gti i think they are tough as nails.. post pics of it before we dont mind, just make sure you post pics of it when its done.
 
That sounds like an awful lot of money ur pumping into the car ...

the proton satria is a rebadged CC mitsubishi mirage - Aus only ever got the CE mirage though. The dash is slightly different to other CC's, but still most components are identicle. Standard engine is a DOHC 4G93,good for about 100kw (SOHC 4G93 is 86kw).

Evo2 front on a gti would be sweet! The closest I've seen to this is a evo5 front on a CE mirage. Is it a simple matter of swapping over the front guards, bonnet, front bar and lights? Or do you have to modify other stuff too?

just make sure you scrap all the audio stuff and put a full cage this time.lol
 
hey guys thanx for the coments lol orange and b;ack strips gone lol i did not like them anyway lol my sponser put the on for autosallon
yeh i might get rid of the sterio we will seee
right now it makinf 0000kw at tthe wheels i took the motor out hahah
