I am after a racing style office chair for my workshop/study. Any suggestions?
Found a couple at Hardly Normal and Officeworks but haven't been there to try them yet.

But any experience or know of a quality one? Have about $250 to spend...

Cheers,
Pete

i had one from officeworks couple of years ago. Foam was good when new, after a while sorta sagged a little and the material near my thigh started cracking. Not the best but definitely not the worst.

Those justjap ones look pretty good. Might have to give them a ring as the 2 I am interested in are out of stock.

Buy a cheap office chair for the chassis, buy a nice leather sports seat off ebay, weld up a frame for mounting and away you go

well, have a nap...THEN FIRE ZE MISSILES!!! Love it!

I had one of the older Officeworks ones and while it didn't look as good as proper bucket, it was cheap and comfy

Righto, Here is his chair.
Apparently it is average though ("pretty thin padding, not a lot of life in the gas lift. it slowly goes down over a couple of hours. can't remove the arms"), but it does look the goods.

Sorry that wasn't much help. I really thought it was good and comfy :001_unsure:
