Was out at the qld round of the ARC for the weekend. Snapped a couple of old galants while I was there if anyone's interested.

I had one aswell- best car I ever owned- hardly ever let me down!

These cars are so over engineered for their day- 20+ years later they are still potent weapons. brisvr4's A-spec is pulling consistent 11 seconds over the quarter mile (best 11.4) and still has a stock motor bar cams!! 4G63 FTW!!

doubt it very much. Too large, heavy and parts are to expensive compared to the ol 6G / Lancer EVO parts

To heavy even totally stripped out with fiber bonnet / boot with 200kw @ all 4?

I would have thought that would have made it a contender... I guess the parts are not that cheap / available.

8Gs are probably too big, but it is probably mainly the rarity that'd make them unattractive as a rally car. They're lighter than Evo 10s...
