removing external sunvisors

the external sunshades on the doors. i removed them ok (only shattered one )

however the tape on the doors is a complete B*&%ch to get off.

has anyone got any good tricks to removing the remaining double sided tape adhesive off the doors without damaging the paint?

some chemical remover etc..?

metho doesnt seem to work well.

wax and grease remover then polish after done

try eucalyptus oil, you can grab it at woolies i think, that stuff removes almost anything! i used it to take some glue left by stickers off my old car witout damaging paint and it made light work of the paint texta on my windows when the leggie rolled up

AKA citrus oil / spray. You can find it in pretty much any supermarket or hardware store.
