Yes, I did this yesterday - really easy. All you need is a flat head screwdriver to pop them out and a cloth to stop from scratching the paint. I got a set of clear replacement indicators off EBay for $30AUD.

I got them through this EBay store.

They don't sit flush like the factory ones which is a bit of a shame.

Just look for ones that will fit a CE Lancer.

guys dont throw out your side indicators (providing their the flat style, and not the bubble type that aus-spec mitsis come with).

The flat style ones are identicle to those from an evo3, and are a popular mod for GSR and cc lancer owners. I sold a set for about $30, where as the bubble ones are worth maybe $5.

Hmm I only want EXACT ones that fit properly, otherwise I won't bother.

And VERY interested in changing the headlight indicator glass if someone works out how to!

The ones I have do fit properly they just aren't flat like the factory ones, they curve out from the car.

I was going to take a pic but I can't find the camera - I'll post one up when I find it.

cheers

A couple friends of mine have been sucessful in removing the orange from the headlight cluster of their WRX's.

....they BAKE the headlights (low heat in oven) to melt glue that holds the backing in place, then the units separate in 2-3 peices. Its fairly risky and they always do it on a spare/swapped set.

I have no idea whether this technique would work with a Legnum/galant front headlight. If you could get the front cluster cheap enough - might be worth it....might be :ROFLMAO:
