Repairing surface rust spots

Just looking for recommended products for cleaning up rust spots underneath your car.

Clean it off well with a wire brush or sandpaper. Then you can use Rust Dissolver to get rid of any remains.

You can also get stuff called Rust Converter and combo Rust Converter + Primer but it may not fully remove any rust below the surface. It's also meant to be used as a base for respraying.

If you use the Dissolver and don't want to respray you can consider using Cavity Wax, which forms to a really tough thin film.

I never heard back from Dinitrol, and couldn't find a distributor for Noxudol in Australia.

However I did find a place called robAust in Seaford, Melbourne that has similar products available in aerosol and also larger containers.

I will pay them a visit sometime and check it out.
