Then you can use Rust Dissolver to get rid of any remains. http://www.autobarn.com.au/products/6/37/4214228 You can also get stuff called Rust Converter and combo Rust Converter + Primer but it may not fully remove any rust below the surface. It's also meant to be used as a base for respraying. http://www.autobarn.com.au/products/6/37/8502 If you use the Dissolver and don't want to respray you can consider using Cavity Wax, which forms to a really tough thin film. http://www.autobarn.com.au/products/6/37/4214206 Or go to town with the ripply rubber stuff, I think this is it below. You'll already have some of this on your underbody. http://www.autobarn.com.au/products/6/37/4214234 This mob below make some good products for protection too. http://www.noxudolusa.com/rust_protection/Rust_Protection.html Here's another popular protectant. http://www.dinitrol.com/index.php?id=52&subcatid=8&L=1

However I did find a place called robAust in Seaford, Melbourne that has similar products available in aerosol and also larger containers. I will pay them a visit sometime and check it out.
