To pump some more bogans into cheap Av Jennings homes on Sydneys already booming outskirts.
Either that, or its preloading of yet another NSW labour party electorate.
I bet daily partons of the M5 will be chuffed with the decision.

The owner is a good long time friend of my fathers, i do tv work when the v8s were at oran park.
His owns so much land out that way and was proposing to build a new track directly across the road with the best aspects of tracks from around the world.
at one stage he was looking to purchase eastern creek but why buy a run down track that no one wants to use anyhow.
My mate is currently doing all the street signs and signwork around the site, he told me the day after the last track event, the walls were ripped out and the bridge was smashed down with no signs of care, i think he even said the grand stands are torn down. They are taring up the track and re using the gravel on the new streets by the looks of it.......cost cutting....

Damn. I was hoping they'd keep Oran Park as the main street of the new suburb. Imagine your morning commute to work!

I can imagine it right now. Sitting in an endless queue of traffic because yet again they have crammed as many houses as they can into the area without providing sufficient roads for them to travel on. The southwest area of Sydney would be the worst place I could think of having get to & from work. The M5 gets my vote as the worst road in Sydney. :thumbdown:
I really feel bad for the people who have to do the commute from there....
