Yeah driveshafts pretzel and snap. Our rear end suspension isn't made to handle all the power.

2012 VW Caddy 1.6TDI 7-Speed DSG. Still crappy DSG.....
Just go get a Commo wagon if you want RWD burnouts.

Be prepared to be fixing plenty if you try it with a Leggy.

It could be done
Try and find a diff may be a borgwarner thats the same length then weld, cut, grind your original brackets into place
Remove front drive shafts , custom tailshaft
Cross your fingers for rego time if they dont spot it may need engineers certificate

P.S. This is just the top of my mind

All that work would cost you three vt v6 commodores that'd still do a better skid. Plus you'd ruin a legnum lol

As I told you via PM. Your just going to break stuff. If you put a borgwarner rear diff and appropriately stronger axles you will just find the next weak point which is the transfer case which can't be substituted for anything else. wanna do skids get a skyline/falcodore or just learn to spin 4 tyres instead of 2.

Did it with a 7th gen VR4 years ago, all I broke was the rear diff casing, aluminium part at the back of the diff snapped where it mounts to the sub frame. Weld up the centre diff and remove the front axles. Did pretty good skids :D

Had it in RWD for about a year, broke two or three rear diff casings, do not recommend.

It was cool for a novelty but didn't handle very well in rear drive, you're better off keeping 4wd or buying a Chaser or something

Getting to many negatives would of been cool though
Yeah I wanted to do it, but the risk of failure everyte u plant the right foot is what worries me. I break things in 4wd. Lol

Yep, whilst I love RWD, Legnants were designed as FWD/AWD. If you want a RWD/AWD JDM wagon, get a Stagea or JZX100 Mark II Blit :)
