[SA] Cruise # 4 (?) discussion

In the photo thread of the last cruise i mentioned we should try for another cruise in mid to late April. Well that hasnt happened....

I may not have the legnum back by that stage, but can still cruise in the V35 if necissary

So i thought we should get some discussion going on the next cruise, i reckon aim for the weekend of the 23/24th of may, or else hold off a bit longer and go on the June long weekend?

now for the finer details - Sat or Sunday arvo? or night cruise?


Ive got a few ideas for route, ive been doing quite a bit of hills driving lately, but i can reveal more when a date has been set

an afternoon cruise would be good. getttin new tyres on saturday so it will be ok for the hills. but im usually pretty slow through hills anyay coz i dont know them well at all. but i can pretty much go any weekend coz i dont have a job anymore.....

23/24 may is super drift at mallala. these dont get massive turnouts, but everyone in all jap day is getting a free pass. so most people will be there that weekend i reckon.

How about a small meet and cruise out to the drifts, i know id be up for that, but its not everyones cup of tea and a cruise the following weekend - or is that too much?

im pretty much on the way to mallala, so if we could make munno para shops a meet point thatd be cool. Might be worth mentioning it on the stagea thread on sau, and see if we can find a caldina or two...

dunno where to find the caldinas, but can mention it on SAU. Im assuming the sunday would be the go for everyone, thats when the main comp is on isnt it?

well i could start one but i'd be lucky to have like a max of 10 members australia wide haha! think they are jus too rare at this stage for a forum of their own....until then i'll jus float around everyone elses forums
im in on a cruise whenever where ever haha...but since we got those free invite thingo's today to drifts might be a cool idea to cruise down there as youve been talking about... as for where to find more caldinas....wel they seem pretty illusive...ive been told theres at least one other around adelaide if not two...but i am still yet to lay my eyes on em...when i do i'll be trying madly to get em to pull over for a chat haha :bigsmile:

argh... Devastated... Well kind of. I just realised ill be on a cruise of a different kind on the 23rd. Ill be in vanuatu on a boat motherf@%ker... Hehe. So yeah, cruise is no good for me. If anybody is free beforehand or after im definately in. Sigh.

just talking to my mate with a gto. They are organising a meet up and cruise for the 30th of May. Ill be at that one if any of you are interested.
