Has anyone used SAFS engineering for compliance in Five Dock. They seem to be most reasonable priced and are the closest to me which would also be handy. Just wondering if anyone has any info on how good they are?

Cheers Dimi, Yeah they're on the SEVS register and i've spoken to them a couple of times. They've done all the Legnums for Japan Auto which is the same company I think.
They have about five series 1 out in the yard and are selling them cheap for cash ($13,000) and all under 70'000kms.

Ask them for a cheaper deal on compliance seeing as you have now just advertised their business. See if they are accomodating

That's cheap for compliancing - especially for Sydney.
So how much are they selling the cars for before compliancing costs?
If their selling pre-facelifts (Series I's) for $13,000, go elsewhere. You'll find privately owned cars for sale for $11,000 with rego and decent km's...
If they're selling pre-facelifts for $13,000 including compliancing, then that's an alright deal. But just remember, you've still got rego and on road costs to pay for.
If you can, avoid dealers and look privately.

Unless i misunderstood he said $13,000 on the road with three months rego for any of them, even the ones with leather and the like.
Yeah i'll prob get some decent brake pads but if the wheels are reasonable nick i'm thinking about just spraying them black for the meantime.
