SEQ Home Mechanics Day - 3rd Oct

Hey all SEQueensland members

Just throwing up the idea of having a home mechanics day. It looks like my boss is fine with us using the big car park out the back of my work in Oxenford. The back of our shop has a large flat concrete car park with enough room for at least 10 cars. There is running water, toilet & kitchen facilities. Also, just down the road is super cheap autos, macca's and kfc and a bottle'o lol

So now its up to the majority to vote when we should have it. I would prefer not to do it on a Saturday from and including the 10th as my outdoor cricket season starts then but i don't have to play.
This leaves us to vote on either a Sat or a Sun. For those of us buying Amsoil products, this weekend will be out as we will only just have it then (hopefully).

So i am up for suggestions for starters on a Saturday or a Sunday. Then i spose we will vote on a date.

Does anyone know if any of the coast's refuse stations have oil dumping facilities? I take it there may be a bit to dump on that day.

Not me. Someone surely would though. I voted for Saturday, but i can get Sunday off work probably if i need to.

2 x Car ramps
1 x Trolley jack
1 x 87 or something, Bahco socket & drive set
1 x Screwdriver set
1 x Spanner set

2 x Stubbie coolers
