Don't get me started. I work in IT. Those who are good at IT you never see - we're the people everyone else calls when shit goes wrong. Those who know nothing are either in sales (and marketing) or management...

"...have you tried turning it off and on again??!!" ah the IT Crowd, love that show. Its a good way to relax after a hard day of work trying to deal with clients who think that because they know how to use dreamweaver, that they too are a web designer.

Whenever you visit a caryard you should ask to speak to their mechanics. Ignore the sales people altogether. The mechanics will know 1000 times more than the sales people anyway. Whether they'll be any more honest is questionable, but at least they should have SOME idea what they're talking about!

Besides, its fun to watch the faces of self-important sales people and managers when you'll only talk to their mechanics ;)

I saw a legnum in a yard in Japan Auto on parra road yesterday. The thing had scratches all up the side of it, the interior looked in ok condition (tan leather/woodgrain...not my cup of tea but that's not the point lol), but it really didn't look that good. It was purple, auto and they were asking 21,990 for it. Ridiculous! When I asked the salesman about it he said "Oh it's in great condition, runs like a dream" etc... *rolls eyes*

On another note I've recently found a white manual galant vr4 for sale not too far from me for $23,000. They're going up! I better get these photos to Shannons lol

Just bought a Legnum...It is a Super Legnum, dark silver ,Recaro interior, red carpet, Ralli Art tip tronic, height and valve adjustable coil overs, full evo bodykit, 18' Rays racing wheels, exhaust, turbo timer, as new condition,12 months rego drive away for $16800.... is that good?

seems about on par for a super with those mods...

that makes 3 super vr-4 owners on the forums now! :D

Pics or ban !

Where did you get it from? Japan or a dealer?

From the description that sounds like he bought it from a dealer.

What's with the double-post Benny? ;) Now go make yourself a member's ride thread already! :P

have not picked it up yet but i will get some pics for you all as long as someone tells me how to post them up...easily...Do all supers have the Recaro interior and are all Recaro interiors supers?? Is the red carpet normal or standard? I will get in contact with you when I get it (Lee).

Trevor, what is a double post? Its sort of a dealer but he normally imports trucks and buses and only the occasional car..

all supers have the recaro's and red carpet, but not all recaro interior cars are supers.

the carpet and all the other red stuff is a super only thing as well.
there is also a few other differences, like a purple glow on the dash, and the body kit that you dont have :P

I assume this one is the one that you have bought ? Looks good if it is !
I'll take your wheels if you don't want them :D

thats the one , looks better in the flesh though

Oh - that car! I saw that back in May when I was looking for my Legnum, I know the guy you mean, he's in Labrador by Harbourtown right? - he's a bit clueless about VR-4s but seemed ok to deal with.

I hope you talked him down from $19k!

cheers

Lee

Ben a double-post means you posted the same thing twice. Check the previous page in this thread, scroll to the bottom and you'll see what I mean ;)

There are a couple of ways to link photos to a web forum. You can use the 'Insert Image' button to upload it directly to your post (its one of the buttons above the text box when you're writing a new message to post), or you can create a new account at an image hosting site like photobucket where you can upload your photos and then copy and paste the text in the image tags below the photo into your post (the line that begins and ends with ). The second way is somewhat preferable as people reading the thread will see a full-size image directly on the page without having to click a thumbnail or anything (and you're not using up the forum's bandwidth either).

That's a really fantastic looking car btw - congrats!!
