Mitsubishi Scorpion was basically a 2 door Sigma, a friend had and auto with the Astron 2600 (might have been the only motor, not too sure) and it hammered pretty hard considering its age
Nah..Im not doing anything else to the Scorpion.
I was going to put fr17 simmons on it and go the efi/2.6 turbo route but Ive got a Mazda series 3 rx7 in the build that I want to finish.ie.(12A TURBO with GT3540/48MM PROGATE/28 SPLINE BORG WARNER DIFF/and has FR17 Simmons on it).
Too many projects and cant keep all my cars.So soon I am going to sell the scorpion and my cressida and buy a series 2 leggy.Id rather have a good cruiser like a Legnum and the mazda for weekends.
I think you have to draw the line as to how much you do to every car you own..
Ive owned the scorpion for nine years and have put in new carpet, new seats, new dash, isotta wheel, new clutch, new brakes,King springs,Munroe Gt gas shocks, new steering arm,new pitman arm, inner and outer tie rods, converted it to power steering,Kmac adjustable strut tops, sigma turbo wheels, genuine bonnet vents, recon head, recon bottom end(previous owner),every hose replaced, new water pump, new radiator and a new 2pak respray and black wire alarm. So who ever buys it just needs to put 17's on it and a turbo motor to finish.
I'll post more pics when I can suss out how to make them larger
I found the badge on an old mitsubishi colt at U-Pull-It believe it or not!
The colt must have been an personal import or something cause it was badged a Mirage and had the mmc badge on the grill.
I also have the rear one which is just a flat chrome badge aswell.
Ive cleaned it up and replaced the double sided tape with 3M tape.
I was going to put it on the scorpion bootlid after the respray but it doesnt look right. If your interested in the badge and your local drop me a pm dont really want anything for it , just your petrol to come and get it?
