1998 PFL Legnum VR-4, manual, trigger mauve, 196,000 kms
I am the first owner in Australia.

Car will be sold unregistered as I am retiring the numberplates.

$7000 ($6750 for forum members)

Still drives great - can be your new daily driver right away.
I'm selling it because I'm tired of maintaining a twin-turbo transverse V6 with AWD and a fancy rear diff. I'm old and lazy now and I want something simple!

I'd really love this car to stay on the forum. It deserves a new owner with the time and energy to look after it properly!

You can see the details of my modifications in my member's ride thread on this forum.

Good stuff:
===============
Never thrashed, always maintained according to Eurospec schedule (http://www.euro-spec2000.co.uk/servicing/mitsubishi/galant/ - convert miles to kms of course)
Body is dent-free, paint generally excellent except a couple spots
EVO 8 BOV
X3eMotorsports intercooler and silicone piping
Upgraded PS cooler
Walbro 255 fuel pump
RPW stainless front pipes
Catch can
X3eMotorsports muffler
DBA 4000 brake rotors
X3eMotorsports brake pads
TME tuned with a 3-port solenoid, 167kW atw
Boost gauge hidden in coin pocket
TEIN SuperWagon coilovers
Auto headlights (installed in Japan)
Aftermarket immobiliser means you can use a plain metal key, no need to buy expensive Mitsi replacement keys. 3 keys included.
AYC pump fully reconditioned about 5 years ago
PS pump fully reconditioned about 5 years ago
Clock does not need fixing (already done it) :)
Undertray fully intact (recently replaced with genuine Mitsi item)
Spare tie rod ends (new, unused)
Spare AYC diff (good working order)

Walbro fuel pump sounds like a UFO when turn indicator active at idle
Comes with bonus go-fast spatula

Bad stuff:
===============
Will need a 200,000km service very soon
Rear tyres need replacing very soon; front tyres getting worn but still ok
Spare immobiliser remote has lost sync with the car and I can't figure out how to re-sync it
Paint fading at the top of passenger A-pillar and front of roof
Rear passenger right side weathershield is cracked
Front bumper scraped to hell underneath from being low
Left side front bumper mounts damaged and repaired due to incidents (from being low)
Original tow hook cover held on with zip ties (see spare listing above)
RPW front pipe is dented and the flex joint sheath is torn from being low (no holes though)
Rear bumper paint cracked from someone hitting it in a carpark
Front wheel arch liners held on with homemade tabs and brackets
AYC Diff leaking very very slightly (for years, never had any issues apart from a small stain on the garage floor)
Rear rocker cover leaking very slightly (I think)
Fuel tank mounts squeak when car shakes
Sound system has a bit of a mid-low frequency response hole just above the sub frequency
Custom trigger mauve (ish) centre console instead of tacky woodgrain
Walbro fuel pump sounds like a UFO when turn indicator active at idle
Comes with bonus go-fast spatula
