well id been looking and talking it up for ages but didnt end up getting a leggy.
i was far too picky for what i wanted. facelift, Type-S, black, tan leather and manual. i got sick of waiting for the right car to turn up (and i needed a car for work) so i ended up getting another commodore. 03' VY SS M6. (pictured below). i still love the leggys and ill continue to spread the good word and awareness of these great wagons. best of luck gents. uve been very friendly and polite the time ive been over here.

new rig... not a leggy. but just as fun. LS1+manual.

SU8TLE would have suited a Leggy so much better......

oh well, pretty nice looking ride anyway - would rip better skids than the leggy! :ROFLMAO:

Ok so now chuck a twin turbo kit on it....

LS1 TT

Kinda got a nice ring to it no?

I believe you can buy a supercharger kit for the LS1's for about $8k.
Sounds like fun.

Pity about the colour! We have a Monaro too and it is a good car, but the gear stick is quite vague and the throws are very long, makes it hard to quickly change from 2nd to 3rd for example.

Love the colour, love the style, LOVE the sound :)

Nice ride mate, wouldn't mind one myself to be honest! Haha.. But I'll be keeping my Galant for a long time :)

Enjoy!

nice car,one of my mates has an identical one,hes lowered it and CUT the exhaust off and dumped it over the rear diff, very loud, lol

though i dont like commodores i must admit its a nice car

Nothing compares to the pull of a V8, but i do like the rush of boost....

And ill have to agree, thats my favourite commo colour

I found a good technique for that actually, because I found the same thing with the T56 - push it up into neutral, let the shifter centre itself, then push straight up again for third. Not the quickest technique, but at least you know you won't be stuffing around looking for 3rd...

Nice car mate, not a VR4 but still very tasty. Love that colour and it looks basically showroom condition. How many km's?

^ 75,000kms. its got black leather interior with green stitching and green ss logo's, came with a HDB factory shortshifter (rare) as well. full s/s twin 2.5" remus exhaust and a bit of a lowering. not too shabby. picked it up for $20K.

like i said earlier. this forum has to have been one of the nicest ive ever been too. no 14 year old knobheads, just guys who like their cars and sharing advice. a credit to yourselves. everytime i see a leggy now ill get that feeling 'oohh wish i had of got one of them'... till i bury the right foot and hear that V8 roar. haha. jj

I really like the leather interior on the newer Holdens, look sexy and are pretty supportive too. Sounds like a damn nice car, and while you're at it i'll agree and say this is definitely one mad friendly forum. Heaps of good blokes on here.
