Standard power bias?

I have had the oppertunity to line up a R34GT-T and a Leggy and i gotta tell you they are pretty even.
When i get my VR4 Gally i wont be shy about taking on any Skyline ( sans GTR) I have spent the better part of the last 10 yrs fu*king with import Nissans and yet i am buying a Gally, I think that is an endorsment in it's self. I see alot of ? on here about, why/ where and reliability. Well i can tell you I have nothing but the utmost passion and faith for the (import) Nissan product and if the budget ( missus ) would stretch to a V35 Coupe I can tell you my ass would be in one now.
We (approved) have settled on a 2002 VR4 Gally and I couldn't be happier, as afore mentioned I have a '75 Gally Coupe in the shed and really excited about getting the later model in the driveway.
Having said that each to there own and should you all be happy with what ya got :)
Cheers,
Jason

sorry for the rant......................

"Pineapples" are basicaly spacers designed to tilt your rear sub frame either for or aft depending on application.
You can add Front and Rear to the rear craddle for "street"
Rear only for drift applications
Front only for drag app.

Having said this you can also mix N match for what ever the fu*k you want.
They basically stiffen up the rear end in any configuration you want them too. Cool idea and very effective, but as most things better than standard....... not legal, atleast here in SA

Is massive oversteer a problem?? :D
Whip it one way, then back the other, then back the first way, little bit of a slide-out overcontrolling for fun, then straighten up to show you know what you're doing... Something like that Kris? ;)

Unless you're driving around in an 89 mazda 121 :P lol
Well maybe it should be 'you should all be happy with what you're GETTING' ;) :P as I'm definitely with you on that one, Paul!!

In all honesty...if you want a RWD car why didn't you buy one? Why did you buy an awd just to make it into rwd? Don't take me the wrong way, I'm not being a smartarse here...just asking out of curiosity. :D

thats cool... 2 reasons really, ive had the vr4 for three yrs now and since then drifting has hit it big here, so sometimes i just wanna slide, but only sometimes, the rest of the time im a 4wd freak:rolleyes:

OK, so i am the first to admit I know sweet FA about the car I am about to recieve. lol
While I am down with the basics I dont get the AWD system. Is there a "fuse" you could pull to make it RWD???
Feel free to be nasty but these are the kinda things a guy needs to know. Know i dont want a RWD car, but reading this thread it has brought up some questions about the RWD applications

Is there a "fuse" you could pull to make it RWD???
No Jase, the AWD system in the VR4 is far more complicated than that - apparently the ONLY car you could do it in was the R32 ('89 to '92?) Skyline (Godzilla).
The only way to get RWD is to pull out the front driveshafts and lock the centre diff. It's not possible electronically like GT-Rs.

only the R32 GT-R's could do the old fuse pull into RWD trick, 33's and 34's had to drop the front shaft otherwise you smoke the clutchpacks in the transfer case.

after seeing a WRX turned into a RWD only car, and having massive oversteer problems, id leave the leggy as AWD.
plus AWD limiter launches > RWD
