Heh, the auction finished a while ago. Would be interesting with the controls hooked up. I'd say you could to it but might be a bit messy.

So the airbag would be compatible? Sorry, don't know too much about these.

To the best of my knowlege all air bag plugs are universal. The spline is the same I think so should all work. The hook up wouldn't be a huge issue.
If you could wire it in to the tippy then when you pushed the shifter over to tippy mode you could use either the buttons or the shifter.

I'm confused - I thought the Evo momo wheel was the only real option we have for a wheel upgrade, as nothing else is compatible?

nothing else is as "bolt on" compatable as the EVO (would kill for a EVO VIII wheel)!! theoreticly any thing 1996-2003 Mitsi airbag (Lancer, Magna, 380 ect.) will fit and work. As far as I can tell with the compulsary introduction of the Airbag in about 1996ish, the wiring was cheaper to make universal. As of about 1998 I believe that it also became a cheaper option to make all splines compatable, sue me if i'm wrong lol

your wrong, so id like to sue you for 1million dollars, cash please.

thats why they make different boss kits for nearly every different make,

what will bolt on our cars is the same years and manufacturer,
so we have to stay mtisi, 96-01/2ish

BTW the FTO wheels fit out cars (well the FTO MOMO one does)

so what will fit 100% bolt on, no mods needed is now...

evo 4
evo 5
evo 6 (inc t-mak)
FTO (V6 Mivec with MOMO wheel)

I will give you $1m NZ, lol I reckon that like $7.50au :)

You will find lots of different boss kits are designed to fit the colum surround. Ever seen a XF Falcon sports wheel with XF boos kit on a XD?? There is a big gap around the surround.

This is the FTO MOMO wheel, looks pretty cool............but

I dislike that style of evo one, the cirular part in the middle where the airbag is seems ugly to me. I think the momo one we have already is very nice.
