TCL REMOVAL

Hey everyone does anyone know how to remove or disconnect the TCL from our cars?

I think TCL is kicking in after we do a run on the dyno and then all the runs after the first show a lazy boost line thus making my car impossible to tune.

The Haltech 1000 is piggybacked controlling only the injectors and ignition while the stock ecu does the rest, the auto ecu still communicates with the stock ecu.

Also does anyone know how he TCL in our cars works?
 
The fuse sounds like a plan Brad but this might sound silly which fuse is it? Both fuse covers only show pics. There is no fuse with TCL on it. There is 2 ASC fuses I think.

Ok just checked out the fuse guide and found out the TCL and ABS share the same fuse. So pulling out the fuse might put the car into limp mode cos the ecu cant communicate with the ABS.

I think I have to trace the TCL wire that sends the signal from the A\T ecu to the ecu, cut it and install a resistor so it thinks it's still joined.

Steve I think you took too many NERF shots to the head last night, I spoke to the dude that built my tranny and even he said it's the TCL jumping into limp mode.

I also spoke to Rob and he said the stock knock sensor has been disabled!

If you look up the A\T ecu pinout it actually shows that there is a wire & signal which tells the ecu to back off the engine torque.....limp mode
