The Ultimate Bonnet style?

I'm taking a poll on what would be the best bonnet to make for our cars...speak now or forever hold your peace. Submit any pics you want or descriptions or sketches and whether you are actually interested in purchasing one. The winning bonnet design will get made after the current bonnet is finished.

Although I have no desire to purchase or install a new bonnet, I applaud you for getting out there and making something that so many people here might benifit from.

Steve.

One of these two would be pretty damn awesome.

With the little vent being over where the Batt normally is for those with a CAI setup?

I want something that is effective at venting all the hot air from the rear turbo as well as the front one. To me, the Evo bonnets look cool but functionally won't do the jump well.

I'm waiting to see how the JustPlainNuts Mad Max edition bonnet looks once painted.

Ken's one looks cool.

So far my vote is for one with the centre vent styled like mine, but with the side fins like on Ken's black one.

Lee, I think what would be perfect for doing that would be a combination of Brad's bonnet and the Origin Type 2. And I'd be seriously interested in buying something like that. See below for the Origin:

With this design you'd have the front vent sucking air through the radiator and extracting heat from the front turbo, and the rear vent extracting heat from the rear turbo. With the facelift bonnet design you could actually do the rear vent quite subtly by using the natural bulge in the bonnet.

I'd vote against having an air intake scoop, I think the clean smooth look suits our cars.

Would it be possible to make these in silver carbon? I've been thinking about silver carbon on my silver car, could look good....

any vents in the rear 40% of the bonnet or so will be an intake vent, not an exhaust vent

i disagree with brad about air not being sucked out the back of the bonnet but would have to borrow an instantaneous barometer to really find out. And names of bonnets do me no good i need pics!
