Now correct me if im wrong but i cant find anywhere on this site which tells you the places you need to drive (and Van please delete this post if there is somewhere)

More offten then not i jump in my Galant and i just want to drive and i dont want to stop. But im at a loss for good places to drive. Id like to hear where other people go to push there VR4 to the limit, or even just a long stretch of road that makes for excelent driving.

Post the with the State and Suburb in the Title ie [QLD] Mount Cotton

Mount Cotton Road, is a 80km/h drive through some wide corners, but just enough to make it exciting. Finish it off with Wuduru Drive, this awesome little stretch of road is a windy 80km/h. Its not very long but it will push a Type-V to start slipping a little. There can be a bit of traffic from time to time though and alot of it is going under speed, but for an early morning run or a Midnight cruse (for those more familiar with the road).

[QLD] Tamborine

Tamborine Mountain Road can be a little hairy for thouse who havent been up and down it a few times. But i cant think of anyother mountain to be driving up or down when you just need to get out and feel your ride.

In SA the roads are that bad and the drivers worse so any where's pretty thrilling... But for specifics id say Black Top Road along One Tree Hill Road to Golden Grove Road is pretty good... There's Norton Summit Road and Gorge Rd which are pretty good but this one has a lot of elevations...

The road up the back of Mt Tambourine is a good drive, we've have a few OZVR4 'cruises' up it :) You start at Yatala BP and head out west behind/beside Tambourine then head up. The trick is timing it so you don't get stuck behind a campervan going up the nice twisty section near the top.

Adam (NinjaClown) showed me a nice driving spot on the Redlands cruise over the weekend.

Mount Cotton Road West, Mount Cotton all the way up to Wuduru Road/California Creek Road. Starting just past the quary when you come from Redlands (there is a bit of a drop there with a nasty transition).

I went out with some of the Evo lads a couple week's back and did this mountain run (approximately) behind the GC.

It is is an awesome drive (takes about an hour and a half plus stops for food/drink at Natural Bridge and beer at Mudgeeraba).

Once my clutch is fixed the QLD guys need to have a go at it :)
