I've got issues with my TPS giving false readings when throttle is at rest causing an engine light to come on when there is no pressure on the accelerator pedal and the AYC light to come on as well. I've had Steve Knight check it out with the MUT II and confirmed it as the problem. I read about another member having the same issue but it somehow managed to resolve itself. This has been happening since Monday while driving to work. I checked the connections and fitment of the sensor and it all seems fine and secure. After checking the Mitsubishi ASA for the sensor it looks like it isn't sold separately from the throttle body.

Can anyone confirm if it is sold only as part of the throttle body?
If a similar aged magna TPS is the same as that would be easier to find second hand?
Or if anyone has any advice or experience on the subject?

The part number is..

MD614735 - SENSOR,THROTTLE BODY THROTTLE

.. and it looks like it's used on a number of different vehicles.

Awesome thanks heaps. I saw it wasn't listed with the throttle body so assumed it wasn't separate. Still getting used to ASA catalogue
