Timing belt service

Hi guys. My friends Dad is a mec. and he will do my timing belt. Just he asked me if i got any manual for him. What do you guys think. If he is a mec. than it shouldnt be problem for him to do the job. Or?

which part of the timing belt are you specifically referring to? if you meant 'how the timing belt itself is tightened' i thought the tightened by a tensioner like this

[I think he ment to make sure that he knows how to get to the timing belt. He done timing belts a lot just not on VR4.
