I would be interested in knowing what a VR4 can tow and how much for total cost. Did you end up finding somebody in Canberra?

Hey guys sorry, been of the forum for a bit. Well for ages.
I went to Fastfit in Sydney to get the tow pack fitted. its a 1000kg kit. I think you can get the heavier units though, as I think they are made for magnas. They are pretty much the same, but I think the AYC and a few other things get in the way. However nothing a fabricator would not be able to sort out. Its just the cost part.
I got mine done ages ago and I can't remember the cost. It was under $500 though. And I have used it heaps. Especially for big loads from Bunnings. I trailered their 6m flat trailer covered with timber and the Leggie did it fine. However due to the stiffness of our chassis you really feel the resistance of the trailer, especially ones that don't track properly, or have a bent rim.
