Traction control switch blowing 10amp fuses

Well i been having this SLIGHT problem since i bought the car 5 weeks ago. Just havent been too fussed with it.

I have the electric dash and correct me if im wrong but when TC is off theres a light on the dash that says/shows its off with that little drift logo. Anyways when i turn on the ignition this light goes out which i think = TC is on. So i push the switch down which is the off position of the switch and nothing happens. Try a little reverse psycology and BAM! i lose all parkers, numberplate lights and even the gear stick base light. Its an easy fix of one 10amp fuse but i was wondering... am i stuck with TC on lol?

I don't even have a button to turn mine off, am I missing something?

Haha mine is permanently off thanks to some error codes. It doesn't seem to lose traction ever anyway thanks to the AWD so dunno if TCL would do much unless you were on rocks etc. Also by the sounds of it your TCL is just on until you get a fuse that doesn't pop. I have no idea if that has repercussions, I'm sure someone will know.
