The problem is that a red Super VR-4 with the black body kit is the only car in the world where a red lip around the wheel looks REALLY good, but you just see it so often these days on shit cars with shit wheels in shit colours that don't suit it that it would be a little cliche.

But I'd go for it, probably CE28N's though over TE37's

Paul, you've read my mind...How much are they and where can I get some??! I've been looking for a good set of black rims for a while and came up with either the Black Koya Zeus or the Black XXR 508. But I'm not too sure what the stud pattern/offsets/availability of these are. Will the wheels pictured fit 235/40's under my pre-FL guards without needing to roll?

I think you will find that they will fit and look sweeeeeet but the guards will need work.

XXR 508 - ok perhaps in black and red as pictured on their site they could almost look ok, but they are only 7" and 7.5" wide.

The problem with both of those wheels is that they are designed to fit onto an N/A 4 cylinder car that an 18 year old drives to make him/her think that the car looks great when it looks like a pile of cheap shit

With such a rare car, the only wheel manufacturer websites you should be allowed to browse have .jp in them.

Dan, the rears will need rolling if you lower it/want to fit an decent rubber under. as it is a pfl, my two suggestions for decent but too crazy fitment would be 18"x8.5J +35 or 18"x9J +38 (you hav a few mm's of play either +ve or -ve as far as offset goes)

tyres: 225/40 or 235/40 would be fine

lol...different strokes I guess. But I do take your point. My wife also says that sometimes my tastes gently lean toward tacky (actaully I'm usually sitting in a tub of the stuff). That's why I appreciate any input regarding wheels you guys have. I have already changed my GTR wheels several times as what I thought was cool, turned out to be...well, not (I'm happy with my current choice, though...)

They are 18 x 9.5 GMAX Eagle's with Kumho Ecsta SPT 245/40ZR18 97Y rubbers. I actually didn't want a dish, let alone chrome, but they grew on me really quickly. I still have the original 16's sitting in the corner of my garage, which have a set of original snow tyres on them!

Welcome aboard Dan. I was trying to win Tatts (not kidding, PM the former owner) twice per week on the Tues and Sat draws for a month straight.

Definitely the "time attack" black rims with red lip would be best suited. Oh and Brad (kp), I would have left the bodykit as it is
