Hi all.

I have installed a Turbosmart Plumb Back blow off valve, and I hope I have done correctly as my boost gauge is no longer reading ANY boost. The turbos spool and in the diagram the part of the boost inlet and outlet I believe are boost from intake pipe and exhaust out to turbo inlet. Please help! I am about to re-set the ecu and hopefully it may re-start the gauge. I am assuming if it is on backwards the system s working as if there was no valve at all!

Take a picture of it installed, I have one on my car and could tell you if it is in the wrong way easy enough. I can't see how installing this could cause a guage to stop working unless it is installed backwards.

Does you car feel as though it's actually making boost. I think you may have just knocked of the hose to you boost gauge.

The car seems quite normal in terms of driving. I took it for a drive this morning and I can hear the turbos spooling and I can actually hear a swoosh when I shift gears...

This is the BOV in the car

Sorry for the blurry pictures!

I checked around all the hoses and they are all connected. Pretty much everything seems normal.

It's gotta be your boost gauge, you would be able to tell from a quick drive if it wasn't making boost. Trace the boost line from your gauge all the way back to your engine.

^^^ what he said, the BOV looks correctly installed as mine sits just the same

I've had a good look under the hood and everything seems connected, the car is actually running quite well, so all bases covered it has to be the gauge itself. I will take it to the shop that installed my alarm as that was done Friday. I recon they disconnected it by accident and the first time I noticed the gauge was after I installed the BOV. And having driven now with the headlights on the gauge doesn't light up. Thanks for your help guys.

Finally got the gauge fixed, turns out the gauge was completely disconnected. The audio shop that installed my alarm disconnected the gauge for some unknown reason :/ they connected it back up with the only set back being having to wait so long for the fkn thing to be fixed!
On the bright side, the BOV hasn't skipped a beat!
