i'd say stick with S1, then install brembo's in the future.. or do the Frozen route (Josh's route - project mu discs and pads) i believe they stop better than the factory setup brembo's
pretty easy.. all you need is the universal adaptor for the hks ssqv and a block off plug for the recirc hose.. a typical 6g vr4 will fit fine.. i think it's 34mm (i can't think of the right one at the moment)

also, if I may suggest.. once you're in possession of the car.. drive it for a week (normal+spirited driving) then do a full oil flush on every part (motor, g/box, xfer case, rear diff and ayc) you'll notice how much more responsive the car gets.. also don't forget the plugs..
