I thought I would start a thread on some of the Tuners that are reputable in Victoria.

So if anyone has questions or comments, whether it be compliments or bad experiences, jot it down in here. Some of us may or may not have been to Chasers yet.

So i'll start.

I rang them yesterday to enquire about AYC Servicing. Obviously their first question was, "which EVO is it?". I said, its actually a Legnum!

First good thing was his reaction, he knew the car.

They quoted me $120, but also said only if the computer can communicate with our cars.

Im looking at getting my servicing done here too, but I've heard good things about Tech Sports in Bayswater - but the thing is its way too far for me... Even the train ride looks dreadful!

I Had mine done at Tech///Sport and I live in Ballarat. They seem to have done a good job so farn

I really dislike Chasers. The reason they can do AYC servicing on our cars is that I got mine done there so they are familiar with them. The guy that owns the place seems alright but busy so it may take a while to get phone calls or for him to chase up anything. The servicing and mechanical side may be ok but I have not had enough work done there to comment. The tuning side is disgraceful. The first time I was there they had the main guy away so I had a second rate tuner work on my car and the tune I got back was disapointing. When I took it back the second time to get the main guy to work on it, it sat there for hours just to have the guy turn around and say he wasn't going to do it. He made some shit excuse about me not wanting to pay for 15 hours of dyno time to get it right, even though he had never spoken to me. I personally think he was having a lazy day and wanted to install the seats in his GTR more. The owner seems like a slave to this guy. Take it to techsport instead, have heard nothing but good things.

Been to both, techsport is definitely tops, great service. But yes they are far away. I got my 100,000km service done by chasers, they sources all parts and mechanically never had a problem so their workmanship seems fine, however their attitude came accross as don't really care for our cars much, they like evo's and gtr basicly he even said he hated working out motor and fto's so yea there is my 2 cents

Chaserers are SHIT! they hoked up the boost solenoid on my mates Civic wrong and plumped his external wastgate wrong. The car pumped out 90fwkw. I then took him to CREATD MOTORSPORT where they fixed Chasers fuck ups and then got 175fwkw.

+1 for tech///sport. had my 100,000 service done there not long back. Extremely Pleased!

+1 for Tech///Sport as well. Got the 100,000km service there and the only issue was with my accessory belt which, when I have the time, will get it re-adjusted for free.

Yes, anyone who's been to a wash-meet in the last two months have heard that SQQUUUEEEEEAAAAAAALLLL like a lil' piggy.

back when i had my typeR i always go to techsport for most things before i head for the tracks, they may cost more...but they are professionals that tune their own car to race in targa for years plus the mechanic Zac knows Evo/mitsubishi back to front..+100 i'd say

Took my car there to have a problem resolved, a lower sway bar I fitted was hitting the exhaust, but I wasnt aware of that - and it was causing some problems.

Anyway they rang me and told me, asked if i wanted it removed. I said to keep it on and to just check over the car.

When I went to pick it up they ended up fixing it, because it was bent, so they bent it back into place - they cleaned the oil and shit off my engine, checked over my car told me what was wrong and what needed to be replaced etc.

So problem fixed plus more all for 1 hr labour which was $80!

I was so happy that my car was back to normal and that more was done than expected!

+1 for Tech///Sport as well. getting 100k done at the moment. never had an issue with them, they seem to remember me and my car and they do a good job.

Tech///Sport, the best service I've had and they have a good network of suppliers and specialists... And their evo x is sexy.

Done a few regular services and my 100k.

I think that every one would hate doing the 100,000 ks job.
thats shit's cramped in there.
