You couldn't buy that combination new.....

Did you try using the search function or reading the Index?

no i didnt but i looked through
http://www.ozvr4.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11
for quite some time but to no avail....

Heaps more than what it is now.
yes that was funny

3.1 million yen back then was 31k au in 97
i would have thought they would be more than that considering they have alot of extra goodies and stuff from the evo of that time....

oh and do they all have all wheel steering?
i asked the previous owner and he said no its all wheel drive......i just left it at that lol

and i read somewhere about someone having heated front seats? where would the switch be for this if i had them?

They have AYC, google for AYC and Wiki and you'll find out all you need to know.

Stock it was about 3,060,000 Yen, I do not know how much the roof racks are worth.

A COTY (limited release with black leather, polished wheels and an auto box) is 50,000 Yen more than a normal auto VR-4. So while I don't know how much it is to option the leather, I'd guess that the COTY might have been a specially discounted price.

Hence the guess of around 3.1 million Yen.

Paul is spot on, by the time they reached Oz they would've been in the vicinity of $60k.... Comparable cars at the time would've been the SS and XR8 hahahahahahaha

thanks, my initial thought was somewhere around 50 to 60k only because the evo was 60k(according to redbook) and from the sounds of it they arent much different.....i have read alot about ayc
you cant just tell me?

lol i liked ford when i was little and my dad has a mint fairlane, then i bought 2 holden wagons.......but im sick of people saying crap back and forth about what is better holden or ford, so i decided its time to get something different....and better lol

AYC = active yaw control (rear torque transfer side-to-side)

4WS = four wheel steering

AYC ≠ 4WS

If you understand this, then why are you putting it on a hoist to see for yourself?

because i did not see ayc and think ooo all wheel steering......i saw all wheel steering so i thought i would ask if i possibly have it

If you do have it, I reckon you could charge admission prices for a peek on the hoist :)
