Hehe I don't know, but it is VERY hot up here in Newcastle at the moment, & with the leather interior it's scorching !!!! The sensor is inside so it's probably up a little but it's still damn hot....

The sensor is outside, at the front of the bumper just to the passenger side of the intercooler.

Ohh and that heat is bloody crazy!

I see you had the fan on full as well...

If you tried to turn the fan down and you'll probably have a Japanese voice from the unit screaming out "you crazy man, it really hot, leave air conditioner on. You crazy!"

After driving, stopping, then starting again (after being in full sunlight) I have had my sensor over 50, didn't take a photo though.

that reading is accurate. in my wife's car, it was indicating 47.5' today. we were on the way to the grand pacific drive near wollongong, but had to turn back becasue it was too hot and there was temperature warning light came on for about 10 sec's in her merc.
