Hi all,
Have done a quick search but could not find much. Are there any tricks to removing the window weather strips (ones that seal the door window glass).
I have removed the retaining screw and I get a little sideways movement but cant seem to either slide or pry them off.

Reluctant to use excessive force, I tried prying them off with screwdriver but getting to the point where it feels like they will just snap or crack and we all know how brittle they are to start with.
I have an idea to refurbish these, replace felting and cover the chips but need to get them off first so I can photo and do a write up.
cheers

These are still available to buy FYI. You're issue may not be just a case of renewing the outer surface, as they age they also contact and no longer wipe the outside glass
I did mine earlier this year and the difference in flexibility and contact was completely different.
Mine where hail damaged and while I did repair 1 of them the risk or removal and replacement in one-piece seemed too risky. Fronts will need the mirrors taken off, each have just the one screw.
You're best to remove them when it's warm to hot and use lots of soapy water to help them free up.

Hi, could you please advise where to buy these new? I have been on the hunt for some.
Cheers
