What color wheels suit our dark cars

Hi guys need a bit of help and some advice.looking at putting a set of 18s on my vr4.

Atm will look at a set of second hand 18s and paint them.
Just wondering what color wheels do you think suit out dark cars.
And comments or even pictures would be great

bronze, white, silver. anything looks good on a dark car. personally not a huge fan of black on black but with the right wheels it can still look good.

I think the style and fitment of the wheel plays a bigger part in how good it looks rather than the color.

Bronze/Black/White.

I would get a fat rim with Chrome Lip and dark spokes, ie: Mesiters/Wolf SP1s

If I had a black car, I'd chuck gold or bronze wheels on.

^^^ BBS LMs or other multi-part wheel, best of both worlds colour them as you please.

I'm not so sure about orange. Each to their own though. Maybe paint them shadow chrome?

If you go with black/dark make sure it is identical colour to the car - nothing worse than a car with painted rims that are the same colour but a different shade.

Black wheels generally hide the pattern of the rim and can end up not looking like mags - more like a painted steel rim - unless you have a fairly open or simple spoke design. And if you go for black it definitely needs to have a polished rim - looks good and stops it from looking like a painted steel rim.

Heres my other car to give you an idea:

Any other colour will look good except Red or White.
Gotta love the broght Orange ones - Fluro Pink or Green would look good too

the mrs wants fluro pink. I liked the idea of blue. will see how I feel about the orange in a few weeks. they were second hand and a fairly good price

Nothing boring with black on black. Even with 16' mine looks good I reckon.

I had my black Evo wheels on my indugo blue Leggy.

Then I put shadow chrome XD9's on.

I think they both look great. What sort of style are you looking for?
