Yeah rego is easy for these cars, just get an alarm and ur away. Good price. Spend $1.5-2k more and could get one already registered.

yea, i thought bout getting one already registerd, but it wont cost much all i need is a rwc and then it would only cost me 550 or around that price for 12 months in vic, and then i will go to a few mates to see what i can get done about the crack in the bar, iv been told it shouldnt be too bad to fix and quite cheap, so we will see

Cheap as man. But don't forget, the 100,000km service will be due in the next 10,000kms.
If you're handy with a spanner, you can get most of it done on your own - which will be a bonus.

used to be handy with that kinda stuff, but these days not so good due to my arthritis, how much would the 100,000 service cost me anyway?

good price i think. just make sure that there are no leaks and all that.. the usual stuff. if there are signs of using degreaser at the bottom of the car, forget it.
$10000. hmm.. tempting.. second leggie..

ahhh no mate this one is hopefully going to be going to a good home... my home

its not registered but spoke to the guy who will get it registered as i spoke to vic roads who advised to me that it easier to buy a car in another state and drive it on that rego untill it runs out, then i will just renew it as victorian vehicle.

He is also getting the crack looked into and fixed up so that will be all sweet, i noticed that the tow hook cover is missing so i will buy another one of those when i get the car (if it all goes smoothly)

so then once everything has gone through i will fly up to canberra and drive it back to ballarat, which means i will get a good chance to bond to my new baby

Don't need an alarm for rego in Victoria.

Am I correct in thinking that the lack of wheel arch flares on this car means it doesn't have AYC? Other than that and the gearbox it looks like a good buy (if I remember correctly you were saying you wanted a manual). I look forward to seeing it around town if you snap it up.

i wasnt to concerned about the trnasmission, manual would have been good, but i am happy with an quto as well, partly because i have arthritis so sometimes driving a manual can be a bit too much.

and yes this doesnt have ayc, but i also wasnt to fussed about having it, would be good to have it, i mean does it make much difference?

I haven't driven one without AYC, but those who have say that it does make a fair difference. Although if you look at it another way, it is one less thing that can go wrong...

thats exactly my thoughts hahaha and its not like i want to drive it too hard, im just out for a nice car to drive with a bit of power when you decided to put your foot down

in saying all this, things could very well change once i get it and realise the potential this car could have.

Im not to sure about the rims but they may look better in person... you just never know... but may end up changing them

At $10000 you should have lots left over to add more goodies, like new wheels, if you 'budget' for a higher car and buy a cheaper one :p

exactly my thoughts the only problem i have with mods and what not is that my dad is a cop  and he hates modded cars and thinks they should all be put off of the road pft like i care haha!

I think there will be a few mods to come, i dunno why but the car just looks sleek, maybe due to the fact it doesnt have the flared guards?1 not too sure, but what i do know is i cant wait to drive one of these things

OK note to self, never go to Jamie's house in either of my cars.

Agree with you on the wheel arch flares, although I've already had that argument on here so I won't go into it again... Are the wheels Super Advans?

im not sure what the wheels are the guy imported it with those wheels i could ask, im not a huge fan of them but like i said before you never know what they will look like in the flesh, but knowing me i will probably change them.

yes my dad is a mods natzi

I couldn't even see the wheels properly in the pics... If they have split spokes they are probably Advans. They are good wheels but the design isn't to everyone's taste.

If you replace them, make sure it is with something Japanese...

yea iv gotten a few nice ideas from the guys on here, i think i like the shadow chrome type rims on the white cars, but i guess we will just find out :)

but the trispoke may look good if the car was lowered, he has tein coilovers which were taken off for ciompliance, i dunno wether i should put them back on or even what they are hahaha, goes to show my limit of knowledge but i will learn
