What is a COTY legnum/galant?

Hey, what makes a legnum or galant a COTY trim model? I've been looking to import a legnum or galant vr4 (to the states) and been browsing this forum site to research more about them and I occasionally see others speak of a COTY model but can't seem to find what makes it unique from the other trim levels/differences it has? While I'm at it, what is unique about the super legnums/galants compared to the regular vr4 trim?

I'm also new here, looking forward to hopefully soon owning one!

COTY models aren't much different from the regular ones, supers are pre-facelift models with cosmetic changes such as red carpets, red/black momo wheel, recaros, canards on the front bumper, different side skirts & rear bumper.

I own a '97 COTY Legnum, as far as I'm concerned the only difference between a COTY and a normal Legnum is just the badge on the back lol.
