Also need a front hub wheel bearing? Any ideas? Thanks :)

upper ball joint boot, MB808084 (mitsi parts)

check the ball joint hasnt rusted/cloged up might be better to change the whole arm if it has
the complete A-Arm part number is..
left side, MR162803
right side, MR162804

wheel bearings, evo/eclipse ones fit im lead to believe (ebay)

I can get the bearing for you no problem at all. I have no idea about the boot, I haven't re-installed ASA yet.

I will ask the local mitsi dealer for the boot, Probably will charge $40 for it knowing them... how much for the wheel bearing Paul?

EBay says $90 delivered for eclipse wheel bearings

Edit, that was for a rear one, front one is more expensive?

Will this suit??

$50 + delivery

Same thing via local mitsubishi dealer is AU$400 my mechanic reckons?

Madhav - this is what you need and it is a front pair. Paid a total of US$145 shipped at that time.

Contact J, shipping cost should not be over US$60 as I paid US$55 but confirm it via email.

Thanks dude, I actually only need one, but yeah now I know the exact style.

I just called the mitsubishi dealer about the ball joint boot, said there are none in the whole country, he would have to order from japan, will take 1 month and cost $22. I can't believe $22 for a tiny piece of rubber.

Anyone in Oz got access to one? Or Even NZ? Will take less time and cost less.

I have a few of the upper arms that I was going to just throw at the dump. I could try grabbing one of the bushes off for you?

Thanks Scott, you are like my local parts dealer! Let me know how you go and send me a paypal request for postage to the same workshop as you sent the last parts. Elfe Automotive in Bayswater WA.

The rubber is bonded to a metal sleeve .I used a couple of small levers to push it off but they are tight. I fitted a new one by tapping it on with a large socket but I can't remember the size

Those prices are pretty cheap for the bearing. I'd want to make sure they're made decently. I'll find out a price for you asap Madhav

They have been used by several members around the world, and the feedback is all good, don't be fooled by the 'genuine' Mitsu Aus parts, their prices are truly obscene...

Looks like I may need a gearbox mounting bracket, the one that connects to the firewall. Anyone have one?? All hopes of fitting the gearbox are on hold till this part appears.

what's wrong with the mounting Madhav .The auto and manual are the same for that one. Has the rubber gone

The same? Really? Mechanic just left a message on my voicemail saying that it's a different size and in a different place all together and it's not the same? If I was at the mechanics now I would take a photo, guess I am gonna have to do it tomorrow avo...
