'Performance Chip'...hah

All it is is a bunch of resistors in a DIL package. It alters the the signal from the air flow meter/sensor and therefore alter the air-fuel ratio.

I remember someone on the aussie magna forums for a laugh, emailed one of the clowns selling these 'chips' and asked if he daisy chained 5 together, whether he would get a 200hp increase. Reply: Yes

You know what I really want to do? Develop a device that clamps on over the fuel lines in the car, chuck in a couple of magnets and shit and sell it for $30. I'd be able to make tons of money!

Sadly, it is, which is why so many a$$holes are doing it... there are just too many stupid people in the world to take advantage of...

Speaking of making lots of money from stupid people, my bro bumped into a guy he knows last weekend. The guy was driving a brand new Ferrari. Apparently he's now making around 3mil a month, at 27yo, running a porn website. This guy has been into dodgy stuff forever, though - he's been to jail twice. But then, who's making the big dollars now? Sometimes having morals sucks... :(
