What's this near the windscreen?

Was washing the car today and noticed this.
My guess is it might be a light sensor as I've seen them on another car with makes the headlight come on automatically when it gets dark.
Or something to do with temperature?

    Anyone know?

    Hi there Emmanuel,

I'm no Legnum expert yet but just guessing could it be anything to do with the switch on the right-hand of the dash that warms the window up in winter or something like that ???

    *Reading the Legnum User Manual..........*

    The wiper de-icer ?

All I can think of at the moment

    *scratches head Homer Simpsons style*

I thought the inside temp/ climate control is done by the hose that is attach to back of climate control unit, near the temp up/down nob

There is a vent on the climate control panel next to the temperature knob, I always thought that was the temp sensor.

It must be a light sensor then, maybe its not connected unless we have the auto light feature?

Does your light switch have the auto Position?
although i notice those with the daytime sensing lights kinda have a bulge on that sensor

EDIT: Please refrain from using coloured fonts unless your post needs highlighting for some reason :)

Is that a factory option? How many cars have the automatic switch for low-light? Anyone got a pic of what the difference is on the indicator arm? Or is it another switch somewhere else to enable it?

I've never seen one with auto lights, so I don't think so.

disconnect it and see what stops working :)
