Where can i get parts

im looking for somewhere on the gold coast or around the area to find a few parts for my 97 vr4. will certain evo parts just bolt on like expecially an evo style wing or bodykit. im just finding it hard to get a hold of places that can get me stuff for my car

as far as i know this question's been asked before.. but.. to answer your question..

simply... No..

to fit brembo calipers on to your car.. you'll need the Series 2 hub carriers as well as the ABS sensors.. the rears will fit easy but no point in doing that if you're not gonna upgrade the fronts..

Bodykits.. there's lots of them out there.. none in australia yet.. but there's one in Slackscreek who might be interested in fabricating bonnets and kits.. you just need to go see them.. its across from autobarn.. next to right price exhaust..

with random parts.. you'll just have to keep searching here.. once in a while they "POP UP" or search in ebay..

Beau if you take a read of the Index thread (it appears at the top of most of the forums) you should be able to find links to a lot of useful threads, including the Part Numbers Guide.

All factory parts for VR4s can be ordered through your local Mitsubishi dealership or parts distributor, as they have a worldwide network. However you're far better off ordering from Mitsubishi Japan through an importer, as you'll save a hell of a lot of money.

If you want to learn more about what's available from aftermarket parts, spend some time looking through the site and also check out ClubVR4.com, which is the UK site that's been around for many years.

What sort of parts are you after? I have a lot of parts still from the galant.

Check out www.japanpartsdirect.com.au for direct access to Yahoo Japan parts.

Make an account and then just search legnum or galant we can then ship the items express or via container.

also give the rally art New Zealand guys a call or email.

i checked out the part was going to be $550 from japan, new zealand can do it and organise delivery only $250 for a front bumper and its going to be around $950 for full front bad plus tow hook cover. so they arent much dearer and they speak english
