One of my mates just bought out an import wrecker. He found this bar in amongst all the junk.

It has EC1A marked on it. It isn't as deep along the top edge, so I doubt it will fit onto my reo bar.

Unfortunately there is no reo bar with it, only the skin, so it may be useless, unless someone has an EC1A reo bar floating around(assuming the marking is correct).

I was kind of keen fitting this instead of the stock pre-facelift front bar just for something different..

Dont suppose he has many VR-4's sitting around? If he does im sure he will get a bit of business from the guys on here if he does good prices. I have a couple of things in mind a need to get.

i tihnk its from a PFL vr-g, non turbo FWD galant

EC1A is a 4wd 1.8 gdi galant. However that bumper came on a heap of non vr-4's, my ST-R has one for example.

Do you need the EC1A reo bar? It looks very much like you do.

Brad, any shots on the car?

Macca, realise you're in QLD, but he does have a full galant front cut. Previous owners had it listed there for $2200.

That bumper is teh only thing so far we have found for Galant/Legnum. Once things are up and running, I'll put the hard word on him to get more gear ;)

So you're going through the place seeing what you can find? That literally sounds like the funnest thing ever!

Oh and I reckon you should run the bumper. Chop it up a bit or add canards or something and see if you can make it look cool.

Looks cooler off than on by the looks of it :P

The round spotties make it look a lot nicer. I think it will be a bit too much work trying to chase down the EC1A reo.

Oh well, was a nice thought.

The square spots were standard on ST-R's and other slightly higher end non-turbos. The little round ones were standard only on the real cheap cars.

Yep, off an ST-R (non-turbo) 8G...

Saw these in NZ when I was there and took photos on my mobile. Funnily enough, I only saw ONE VR-4 in Wellington (April last year, was there for a week) but a helluva lot of GDi (1.8L 4cyl) and ST-R (2.5L V6 NA) models.

Incidentally, the dodgy part of my brain read the thread title of "which model is this bar from?", I was thinking "promo girl" and "pub/nightclub" initially!
